    The UK’s exit from the EU Single Market and Customs Union had a profound effect on those businesses who were previously accounting for VAT using TOMS, particularly those providing services enjoyed in the EU.  EU member states are currently reviewing the position and it is possible that certain EU countries may introduce their own VAT rules if an EU wide agreement cannot be reached.
